Mini-Recap: Summer in the City | Networking | 28 Degrees

So your girl and her trusty gal pals went to the South End to check out the "friendly take-over"28 Degrees (1 Appleton St, South End) sponsored by, Boston Offline. When I got inside the for this event the crowd for was very small...okay like 15 people. No lie. I don't know if a representative of Boston Offline even showed, 'cuz they didn't identify themselves.

The atmosphere in 28 Degrees is absolutey gorgeous, but the only place to really congregate is at the bar, and since this wasn't a pre-scheduled event, it had already been taken over by regular patrons.

The Boston Offline group was huddled together near the kitchen area which didn't give much room for networking. It kinda almost worked for 15 people, but had there been more the event people would have not had a place to gather as the restaurant is meant for a more intimate setting with small tables separated by sheers.

It was an okay time 'cuz I had my girls with me, otherwise I probably would have left.
Certainly wasn't worth the 30 minutes it took to find a parking space.

Maybe next time, guys.

Fab Girl Tip!: If you work in the South End, 28 Degrees is a great place to get a cocktail with co-workers and friends, but if you don't work in the South End, save your try out for the weekend or take the train. Parking is murda!
