*Fab Girl Tip: It is likely that other parties, namely Prestige at Venu (100 Warrenton St, Theater District) will reach capacity more quickly than expected. If it's that serious for you (as it is for me, because I pre-paid :)). Get there early!! And please, please, pah-lease act appropriately. Dress appropriately, tip the bartenders, leave the drama with your Mamma. There is a reason why we have "difficulty" finding places to go out in Boston. Don't let a few trifflin' folk ruin it for the rest of us!

Formerly known as Club Pure, it has gotten a make over and is now emerging as:

Pearl
(275 Tremont St, Theater District next to The Roxy)

with a re-opening party called The It Factor sponsored by Mistrie, E1 Live! Entertainment, Klutch and CAN Entertainment...

The new digs boast pearly white furniture and drapes (ooh la la?). With a brighter ambiance, six Vegas style 66" screens, complete with silhouette dancers (Dunno how I feel about that...) and a VIP designed for real VIPs, this upgrade may be the best thing that hit Beantown.

DJ Anaconda, DJ Riddim Rider, DJ Big and DJ King Ilabash will ALL be spinnin'...(like 30 min sets??)

The party will be hosted by D. Lopes & The Video Queen Lady V.

5.8 Senior Class 2008 Farewell | Stix Lounge

Calling all graduates!

CAN Entertainment and Gossip will be hosting a Farewell to the 2008 Senior Class at the new STIX lounge ( 35 Stanhope St, Back Bay) *Note it says lounge...remember: lounge + Boston = small. :)

10-11PM is a VIP reception - Free Food & Drinks with DJ Hectik playing mashups, reggae and house.

But you gotta RSVP here!! be sure to include your name and number in your party.

Entrance is $15 at the door and can be bought in advance.

3.28 Vintage Lounge | The Black Affair

Mistrie & CAN Entertainment presents The Black Affair at Vintage Lounge (72 Broad Street, Downtown). They ask that you arrive in upscale attire; black of course (AHH! I am so sick of the dresscodes!)...maybe they'll lighten up with warmer weather, though I doubt it. General Admission is $10.

If you join the Members Lounge (I'm a proud member!!) entry is free, plus you get advanced notice and free admission to all other events that Mistrie hosts...not bad! I think he's one of the only promoters that realizes when you let people in for free you won't lose money...we just spend more on liquor!
