Mayor Thomas M. Menino and the City of Boston are holding the
Fifth Annual Peace 2008 Hip Hop Festival in City Hall Plaza

Headlinging will be Hip-Hop legend EPMD and will feature Chubb Rock as well as local up and coming acts including Acrobatik, Static Noyze, Status Quo and Esoteric as well as Justin "Jae Guttah" McGibbon, Jennifer "Nesi" Chiansi, and Nyles "Witness" Houston winners of the ESSENCE magazine and Berklee College of music 2008 Take Back the Music Hip-Hop Songwriting Contest.

This event is free and open to the public

The Concert is FREE, outdoors and takes place from 5– 8 PM in City Hall Plaza.

The Annual Phantom Gourmet BBQ starts this Wednesday at City Hall Plaza.

10 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Cost is $1 for a weekday, $5 for entry on Saturday or Sunday.

Tomorrow through Thursday, the 26th Annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl presented by FedEx, is going down in Beantown!

The Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl is the nation's largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival. Serving ice cream from 11 of the nation's leading ice cream companies while raising money for the Jimmy Fund, which supports cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute which is located right here in Boston!

Tuesday and Thursday: 11:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 11:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

It's $8.00 for adults, $4,00 for children ages 3-9 and FREE for children younger!
