Sponsors Sovereign Bank, Target, and Dunkin’ Donuts bring you the 8th Annual Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival (On Columbus Avenue and between Burke Street and Massachusetts Avenue)
More than 15 bands and 120 musicians will perform at the Berklee Performance Center (BPC) (136 Massachusetts Avenue) and outdoor stages along Columbus Avenue.
Artists to include...Javon Jackson, Kurt Elling, Les Mccann, James Carter, Cyrus Chesnut, Geri Allen, Cindy Blackman, Terri Lyne Carrington, Patrice Rushen, Randy Weston and Walter Beasley plus many many more!!
The festival kicks things off on Thursday, September 25, 8:00 p.m., at Cafe 939 (939 Boylston St, Berklee College of Music) with a special warm-up concert featuring artists from Berklee's student-run Jazz Revelation Records—Manami Morita, Evgengy Lebdev, and Hyunwoo Han. Free CDs and food will be provided. Tickets are $10 and are only available at the door (no pre-sale).
All performances on Saturday are FREE!!
