Tin Can Films presents an intimate sneak preview of “Delta Rising” – a blues documentary at Café 939 (939 Boylston Street - Berklee College of Music)

“Delta Rising” depicts the life of blues musicians in Clarksdale, MS and brings the viewers from the cotton fields to the blues cafes throughout Clarksdale. This film shows the struggle, as well as the passion of the true blues artist.The film features Morgan Freeman, Willie Nelson, James Montgomery, newcomer Grace Kelly, with local legends Jimbo Mathus, Big Jack Johnson, Ruby Wilson and many blues artists.

The event will include an 83-minute showing of the film as well as live entertainment by James Montgomery and Bruce Marshall.
