Friday, The Mudd Band presents Soca Uprising at Russell Auditorium (70 Talbot Ave, Dorchester)

Saturday from 1p.m. - 7 p.m. is the Caribbean Carnival Parade
The Parade begins on Martin Luther King Blvd. in Roxbury proceeds along Warren Street, through Grove Hall and on to Dorchester's Franklin Park
