Today is Cinco de Mayo and if you were lookn' for an excuse to celebrate, now you got one.

See below for hot spots you could check out tonight.

RSVP here
after 11 the cover goes up to $10 - $15 .

Saint (90 Exeter Street, Back Bay) is hosting free admission before 10 p.m. RSVP here

For the first 150 guests there will be complimentary cocktails by Corona & Sauza Tequila also favors including sombreros, maracas, t-shirts & a chance to win a Corona beach party pack!

*For good eats - though I am sure it will be packed - check out my favorite Mexican restaurant On the Border in Woburn (19 Commerce). It’s a bit of a drive and there is always a wait, but this Mexican restaurant chain typically gets it right and is reasonably priced.

Vaya con Dios mi gente fabuloso!

5.2 May First Friday's

Looks like you'll need to rest up for the weekend because it's pre -Cinco de Mayo time!!! Boston do your best to avoid getting caught up in the non-P.C.ness of it all and just take it as another excuse to get your party on. *FYI - Cinco de Mayo is NOT Mexico's Independance Day - at least know that much.

United First Fridays, Upper Echelon Events, The A group, in association with the Donnic group present the monthly party First Friday's - this time in Somerville (I know, right?) - at Club Night Games...inside the Holiday Inn Somerville (30 Washington St., Somerville). The post boasts free parking, free buffet and $5 drink specials...sounds like a good time to me! Now, I can't vouch for the crowd as it could be quite international...but they are saying upscale dress is required and they reserve the right to be selective - to avoid embarassment - keep it classy people!

They don't put a price on admission, but my guess is it wil be around be around $20.

To get a discount

(Not sure what the discount is - since they didn't say the price)

(And show up before 12)
